Halloween "Thrift Shop"

Welcome to the best memory you will be creating in 2025! Saturday, October 25 at 9:45pm ET! We would LOVE to have over 100 people join us for this event, so please secretly share it with your friends. We are outwardly calling it the code name "Thrift Shop" so that flash mob will not perk up anyones ears. Here is what you need to know about this event..... 1. By signing up here, you are committing to stepping out of the crowd before the Douglas Halloween Parade on October 25, 2025 around 9:45pm ET (more details to come). You will be paying $10 here to receive all the information you need plus the video to practice the dance! All proceeds will be donated back to the parade...so we can help keep it going! 2. We will need people to come out right away, then others to join periodically throughout the whole song so that the performance crowd grows bigger and bigger. We will also assign you a block to perform on so that we spread out the entire parade route. Each block will have a designated leader to start the show. 3. You will simply practice the dance several times with the video so you are familiar! We want this to be of so fun and cool, so you will have opportunities to go wild and play in your own way.....we will all be doing the chorus of the song together! (Song revealed once you are registered.) 4. Per usual, a flashy mob is supposed to look like random people on the street joining in, so get your BEST Halloween costume together and show up! We would love to see wild colors, sparkly, shiny or light up costumes, maybe big streamers, pom poms or glow sticks! What ever the wildest outfit you can create....DO IT, why not, it will be oh so much fun! You can even wear a mask so no one knows who you are. 4. The night of, Douglas, will be packed. We will go on no matter what the weather. If the parade is going, so are we! We recommend looking into shuttle information or just come very early so you are there and ready to go. We will send shuttle information to you as we get closer as well. 5. We will be scheduling two 30 min online ZOOM meeting sessions to practice together and for you to ask questions. Sunday evening, Oct. 12 at 7:00pm ET and Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7pm ET. Email reminders will be sent out. 6. After the 3 minute mob dance is over, you will simply walk off the parade route like nothing happened, BOOM, history made! Get registered, start practicing and gathering friends! We cannot do this BIG without YOU!!
